Scott Budzenski is a Managing Director with SURMOUNT. Scott joined SURMOUNT in 2026 and currently arranges debt and equity solutions for commercial real estate transactions on a nationwide basis covering all property types including retail, multifamily, industrial, office and hospitality. Scott has over 20 years of experience in the commercial finance industry and has closed more than $1 Billion in transactional volume throughout his career.
Prior to joining SURMOUNT, Scott held similar roles at CBRE and Marcus & Millichap, where he was consistently recognized as a top producer. Scott also previously practiced law for close to a decade at globally recognized law firms in New York and Los Angeles specializing in commercial finance and corporate restructuring. Scott received his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law and his undergraduate degree in Economics and Business from the State University of New York at Albany.
Scott holds a real estate license in California and licenses to practice law in both New York and California.
