Nathan Smith is an associate with Surmount. Nathan joined Surmount in 2025 and currently works alongside the Institutional Coverage Group team from a brokerage perspective, servicing a variety of clients in quick-service restaurants and individually within the C-store space. 

Prior to working with Surmount, Nathan worked at Sands Investment Group. Where he led a three-broker team specifically in the gas station and c-store space, while successfully mentoring both of his junior brokers. He graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Finance.
