Michael Marino is a Vice President with SURMOUNT. Mike specializes in healthcare-leased properties, and net lease retail assets nationwide. He works closely with physician groups, developers, and private and institutional investors on dispositions, acquisitions, and sale-leaseback transactions. Mike is also actively involved in sourcing on- and off-market opportunities across the country and advising owners on pricing strategy, buyer positioning, and portfolio-level execution.

Mike brings a principal's perspective to the brokerage side, having spent the majority of his career underwriting and closing net lease acquisitions in-house. At Getty Realty, he was part of the acquisitions team responsible for approximately $100 million in annual transaction volume across retail and automotive net lease assets. That background - combined with a focus on the healthcare sector, where investor demand continues to grow year over year - allows him to advise clients on how buyers will actually underwrite an asset. Mike holds real estate salesperson licenses in New York and Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining SURMOUNT, Mike held roles at Postal Realty Trust, Getty Realty, and Federal Realty Investment Trust, spanning acquisitions and asset management. He played soccer at American University, where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Mike currently resides in the Washington, D.C. area.
