Matt Anuszkiewicz is a Managing Director and Head of the Institutional Coverage Group ("ICG") with Surmount (formerly NNN Pro / STNL Advisors), specializing in lease advisory services for private equity firms, multi-unit franchisees, and business owners nationwide. Matt leads the structuring and negotiation of complex lease arrangements — including sale-leaseback programs, lease restructures, and large-scale asset disposition programs — with a focus on aligning lease terms to clients' long-term operational and financial objectives.

Since joining Surmount in 2015, Matt has developed deep expertise in creative transaction structures, credit underwriting, and capital markets, bringing that knowledge directly to bear on how leases are structured and executed. During his tenure, Matt has been directly involved in the sale of over 1,000 properties totaling more than $3.5 billion in transaction volume. Most notably, he advised a publicly traded REIT through a high-profile multi-year disposition program encompassing approximately 200 properties and nearly $800 million in market value — the largest program of its kind to date.

Prior to Surmount, Matt worked at J.P. Morgan building customized investment portfolios for trust, foundation, and private equity clients. He graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and lives in Westchester County, New York with his wife and three children.
