James Westerberg is a Vice President with Surmount (formerly NNN Pro). James joined Surmount in 2016 and currently works on the Institutional Coverage Group focusing on developing and successfully executing sale-leaseback programs, asset valuations and acquisition/disposition programs for a substantial and diversified client base spanning across both private and institutional markets. James provides a wide range of high-quality advisory services across all facets of the net lease investment market including analysis, underwriting, marketing, negotiating and portfolio management.
Since joining Surmount, James has assisted with closing over 300 properties with an aggregate value of over $850 million, including over 80 closed transactions with a total transaction volume of $200 million in 2022.
Prior to working full time with Surmount, James interned with NNN Pro, where he developed extensive knowledge throughout various aspects of net lease including understanding inherent real estate value, market conditions, tenant/credit underwriting and site-level performance metrics and lease economics.
