Christopher Schermer is an associate broker with SURMOUNT. Christopher joined SURMOUNT in 2026 and specializes in single tenant net leases in the Midwest with an emphasis on quick service restaurants.

Prior to joining SURMOUNT, Christopher worked at Meritage Hospitality Group where he was responsible for the acquisition and development of more than 65 Wendy's restaurants. Christopher then spearheaded the company’s launch of Bojangles as the lead operator. As such, Christopher carried the launch from concept through store open and stabilization. Christopher holds a degree in Business Management from Northwood University and lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
